Snikiddy

Snikiddy® co-founder Mary Owings Schulman graduated from University of Maryland in 1997 with a B.S. in business finance. She spent the next ten years working in the financial world, and during that time, became more and more concerned with the state of children’s health as she watched the national rates of childhood obesity and diabetes rise continually. It seemed clear to her that the poor quality of the foods kids were eating, especially snack foods packed with high fructose corn syrup, were a big part of the problem. And, in 2006, with her mother Janet Owings, she decided to become part of the solution by founding Snikiddy, LLC, a company that produces delicious, family-friendly snack foods that are made from simple, wholesome and real ingredients.

Currently the head sales and marketing for Snikiddy®, Schulman resides in Bethesda, Maryland, with her husband and two young daughters. In her free time, she is an active PTA member and an avid student of both yoga and Pilates.
